"Survival" opens up with a quick pace and features some good vocals that lean a little to the pop side. The group makes use of their breaks to really capture the listener in the atmosphere. And that feel carries over directly over to the delay filled "Phenomenon". Some more delay sets off "Virus", but I feel the bass and drums take control of this track and it's great. This track almost reminds of some of the older Bush stuff, which is great. While this release is only four tracks in length, it clocks in at a strong 20 minutes - and every song is solid."

Bio:
Late Night District, a trio from the San Francisco bay area lead by vocalist and guitarist Mark Shriver and bassist Kyle Viscovich, play high energy, uplifting, vivid and textural rock music. In 2015 the band released its self titled EP featuring “Survival”, “Phenomenon”, “Virus” and “Not afraid” which was recorded and produced by Marc Jordan and mastered by the legendary Howie Weinberg. After the band’s first Drummer, Sergio Elisondo departed from the band, Kyle and Mark were introduced to Travis Drumm who joined Late Night District in the summer of 2017 and contributed his intricate and inventive drumming styles to the music. Late Night District has performed at venues all over the bay area including Bottom of the Hill, Brick and Mortar, The Caravan, JJ’s Blues, and the Rock Bar.
